Dr. Nikolas Bounas-Pyrros, Dermatologist and Allergologist
I come from Athens (Greece) where I completed my education at the German school. I moved to Germany to study medicine and chose the Technical University of Munich.
I completed my specialist training for skin and venereal diseases at the university clinics in Munich and Augsburg and in renowned practices in Munich. I have experience in both the hospital and private practice area. I passed my specialist examination in 2020 and, in addition to being a specialist in skin and venereal diseases, I also received the additional qualification in allergology from the Bavarian State Medical Association.
At the beginning of 2022, I moved to Austria to take up a position as senior physician in the dermatological department of the Wiener Neustadt State Hospital. Two days a week I am part of the dermatological team at 'Medizin am Hauptbahnhof' in Vienna. My practice focuses on the diagnosis and therapy of allergic diseases, skin cancer prevention and the surgical removal of skin abnormalities, the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases using the latest methods and laser therapy procedures.
I am also active in Germany & Austria as a lecturer on a whole range of dermatological topics. The languages I speak are German, English and Greek.
