Dr. Christina Hauser
Dermatologist
After completing my studies at the Medical University of Vienna, I underwent my basic training at the ‚Barmherzige Brüder‘ in Vienna, which involved rotations through various surgical and internal medicine specialties. My enthusiasm for dermatology then led me to the german cities Munich, Frankfurt, and Marburg . As a dermatology resident, I gained valuable experience both in private practice and at a university clinic. During this time, I had the opportunity to care for patients with inflammatory and infectious diseases, autoimmune dermatoses, skin tumors, and allergies.
At the Marburg Skin Tumor Center, my responsibilities included conducting follow-up examinations, planning immunotherapies, chemotherapies, and targeted therapies, as well as managing their associated side effects. Additionally, I had the chance to apply surgical and laser-based therapeutic procedures, including sentinel lymph node biopsies and specialized techniques such as electrochemotherapy.
I particularly enjoy contributing to scientific publications, posters, and continuing education events to ensure that I can provide you with dermatological care based on the latest scientific advancements.
At "Medizin am Hauptbahnhof" in Vienna, my focus areas include the diagnosis of skin tumors, including skin cancer prevention and follow-up care, using full-body mapping, videodermoscopy, and lymph node ultrasound. Furthermore, my patients can choose from various surgical and drug-based tumor therapy options.
As a private practitioner, it is especially important to me to dedicate sufficient time to your concerns in a professional and relaxed atmosphere. Since January 2025, I am available to assist you at "Medizin am Hauptbahnhof" from Monday to Friday. I look forward to meeting you and accompanying you on your journey to beautiful and healthy skin.
