Dr. Lisa Pesendorfer, Dermatologist

I am working in "Medizin am Hauptbahnhof", centrally located at the main station in Vienna, since March 2021. As a dermatologist, I have extensive experience from various stations in my career. In addition to the subject of skin and venereal diseases, I have a special focus on venous diseases (phlebology), which inspired me even before my specialist training.

After finishing my medical degree, I spent part of my rotation (training as a general practitioner) in the dermatology department of the Vienna General Hospital (AKH). It was then that it became clear to me that dermatology would be my subject of choice. Getting admitted to a recidency position in this field, which is very popular among doctors, is not easy. But it was absolutely worth it for me because I love this diverse subject with all its diversity.

After successfully completing my specialist training in dermatology, I was employed as a specialist at the Hietzing Hospital in the dermatological surgery devision and in various outpatient departments (general dermatology, venous diseases, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, psoriasis, STD, woundmanagement). I also worked in the private sector for several years, which means that I am familiar with various laser treatments.

Regular training is essential for me, as well as for the whole team at "Medizin am Hauptbahnhof". This way our therapy recommendations can be based on the latest scientific developments.

In caring for my patients, it is important to me to take enough time to understand the full medical history. This is the prerequisite to offer an optimally tailored therapy for your skin and vein issues. I look forward to seeing you at our practice in Vienna.
