Can I have my permanent make-up removed?
If you do not or no longer like the microblading of your eyebrows or the permanent lip contour, you can have them removed using modern laser technology. The removal is gentle, complete and scar-free with almost all permanent make-ups.
We currently do not offer eyeliner removal in our practice at Vienna Central Station.
Which laser is available at 'Medizin am Hauptbahnhof'?
The Discovery PICO represents the latest generation of picosecond lasers. The system is based on an Nd:YAG laser source that emits at both 1064 nm and 532 nm. The laser belongs to the exclusive Quanta Pico-Boost technology. The laser delivers peak power and ultra-short pulses. In this way, optimized treatment results can be achieved.
How many treatments are necessary?
For a complete removal of permanent make-up, between 3-6 treatments are usually required. The interval between treatments should be at least 6-8 weeks, because that's how long it takes for the immune system to remove the destroyed pigment particles.
Factors influencing the number of treatments are the color used and the amount of color, the size, the puncture depth and, of course, your aftercare after the treatment.
What costs should I expect?
Depending on the size, EUR 120-150 are estimated per treatment. Before the start of treatment, one of our dermatologists will give you an assessment in a detailed consultation.
What do I have to consider after the treatment?
Slight redness and swelling often occur immediately after the treatment. These usually go away on their own. Crusts can form on the treated areas that are to be treated with ointments and creams. Here we recommend which products are best for you to use.
It is imperative that you avoid sun exposure for several weeks to avoid triggering unwanted pigmentation. Sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 50+ must always be worn outdoors. It is even better to avoid the sun completely in the first few days after the treatment.
